Evidence Supporting the Empowering Minds Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Curriculum

Empowering Education has partnered with the Center for Practice Engaged Education Research (C-PEER)  at the University of Colorado Denver and several third-party evaluators to obtain the highest standard of program evaluation available. We are dedicated to providing evidence-based programming and refining our SEL curriculum in response to formative assessments along the way to provide your students with the best possible experience. All of our lessons cite a wide range of peer-reviewed articles and draw from existing evidence to inform best practices. 

Our previous third-party evaluations reveal statistically significant increases in measures of Persistence, Self-Control, and Social Competence.
